THE STUDIOS

The mixed-use site will house a $200 million movie studio project and continue the public airport use. Grandave Studios at Banning will include corporate offices, a cafe, retail stores, 16  energy-efficient, “dome structure” sound stages, a water tank, outdoor “brownstone” filming facilities (used for dense urban film settings including city streets and sidewalks), a designated security office/Command Center, rentable storage facilities, and parking.

The project has generated extreme interest nation-wide and counts on strong support from the local community, public and private entities, stakeholders and labor groups.  The State of California’s endorsement of the project and support from interested entities and groups comes, in part, from the co-benefits during the project's construction phase; State-subsidized traffic improvements, significant increases in local business synergy, dynamic land-use revitalization, and long-term local revenues.
