THE STUDIOS
The City of Banning is located approximately 80 miles east of downtown Los Angeles and 30 miles west of Palm Springs, and is connected to these metropolitan areas by both Interstate 10 and railroad. Banning’s population is an estimated 31,221 with a population density of 1,341 people per square mile.
The proposed site for Grandave Studios at Banning is located at the Banning Municipal Airport, 200 South Hathaway Street, Banning, California. The current design plan calls for keeping the Banning Municipal Airport open, although an alternate design plan takes into consideration a proposed airport closure.
